MANILA, Philippines -- Kristine Zenny "KZ" Tandingan, a singer from Digos, Davao del Sur, stole the limelight on the fourth week of "The X Factor Philippines" with her version of the classic "Over the Rainbow."

Tandingan started singing as a young girl but had to stop when she was in third year high school after she suffered from a throat problem.

She received a standing ovation from the show's four judges Charice, Pilita Corrales Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano and was even requested to sing again. She obliged with A1's "Ready Or Not," where she also showed her skills in rapping.

"I have only one question: 'Pwede ba akong mag-front act sa concert mo? Because a star is born in Digos," Nievera said.

"I have only one question: Can I be the front act of your concert? Because a star is born in Digos," Nievera said.

"Tito Martin, gusto mong mag-front act? Pwede mo akong maging guest," Charice asked Tandingan.

"Tito Martin, you want to be the front act? Can I be your guest," Charice asked Tandingan.

"Ako pwede akong maging back-up singer," said Corrales.

"I can be the back-up singer," said Corrales.

"Basta ako maging direktor. You always got me speechless dahil sa ginawa mo. Originality nandoon, boses nandoon, you have it all actually," Valenciano said.

"As long as I'm the director. You always got me speechless because of what you did. Originality is there, voice is there, you have it all actualy," Valenciano said.

Tandingan also created a stir among netizens with her audition video uploaded on video-sharing site YouTube, which was viewed more than 270,000 times.

Maricel Callo, a mother of three and who's married to a gay man, also received a standing ovation from judges after her performance of "I Am Changing" from the Broadway musical "Dreamgirls."

The other contestants who are through to the next round are:

John Peter Calimbon, 25, who sang Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely."
