When I was in the military I was stationed on Okinawa before deploying to Nam. Our living quarters were WWII quonset huts. I had just purchased a set of AR2ax loudspeakers. My best friend had just purchased a JVC receiver with graphic controls called SEA which could lower or boost sound at different frequencies of the sound spectrum. My friend wanted to test out my loudspeakers which I claimed were better than the Japanese loudspeakers then available. He puts on Jimi Hendrix and boosts the bass on his SEA controls. When one of Hendrix songs hit a low note the ceiling on the quonset hut began to disintegrate and plywood particles began coming down from the ceiling. Just then the 1st class Petty Officer in charge of our hut comes in and sees the ceiling coming down. My friend and I were on this guy's sh-t list from then on.
