What's up Cha? Warner Music Japan tweeted this photo of the Filipino singing sensation when she visited the record company
MANILA, Philippines – Following her stint on the hit show “The X Factor Philippines” and several other appearances here and abroad last year, Charice has returned to Japan for what is believed to be a new project.
Warner Music Japan (WMJ) posted on its Twitter account on Feb. 5, a photo of Charice inside the record label’s office. The following day, WMJ tweeted a photo of the Filipino singing sensation enjoying a Japanese meal, which also included sake (wine) that is allowed even for 20-year-olds like her.
Though the said project seems to be a mystery for now, excited fans may well take a hint on these keywords from Charice-related posts by WMJ: “staff meetings.”
Charice has earned a considerable stature and fan base in Japan, with her eponymous album reaching platinum status there in 2010. She has also visited the Land of Cherry Blossoms in the past for various appearances.
Meanwhile, the singer is seen sporting a new look: back to a black hair color, but with shorter layers. Twitter user @Yojan17 posted photos of Charice with her new ‘do late last month, taken at a local amusement arcade center.
"LOL. She won 6 tickets on Deal or No Deal," read @Yojan17's caption, while another photo showed Charice enjoying some “videoke” time.
In early January, Charice went to Thailand for a corporate event, as seen in Twitter posts by her musical director and fellow Filipino, Troy Laureta. There, she donned a Barbie doll look, reminiscent of her previous long, pitch black glam hair style.
