One thing that has always bothered me was David Foster enhancing Charice's image by stating she did not speak English very well when he first met her. English is taught in the Philippines to school children starting in 2nd grade. David along with millions of viewers saw the StarKing video so he knew before he even met her that she was fairly fluent in the English language. And then either just before or just after she appeared on Ellen David flew Charice in his private plane to attend a Celine Dion concert in Vegas. Except for a slight accent, she is able to answer questions without hesitation and intelligently in english.
