A well-attended concert in Seoul, South Korea on Thursday capped the Asian "Infinity" concert tour of international singing sensation Charice Pempengco.
The Philippine Embassy in Seoul said Filipinos and Koreans trooped the AX-Seoul concert hall to witness stellar performances from Charice.
"Her fourth visit to Korea, international teen sensation Charice presented original numbers from her latest sophomore studio album, 'Infinity,' as well as many other well-loved songs from her self-titled debut album and music by other artists," the embassy said.
She also belted out songs ranging from ballads to contemporary pop numbers, the embassy reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs.
It quoted one of the Korean concert organizers as saying "there is not much Charice can't belt out with her velvet voice."
Charice's international exposure first started in Korea four years ago, through a popular TV variety show, "Star King."
Her performance on that show was uploaded to video-sharing site YouTube, which became viral and made her an international sensation. — LBG, GMA News
