The international singing sensation has just turned 20! Charice, real name Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco, born May 10, 1992, is celebrating her 20th birthday today!
Charice, is a Filipina singer and actress who rose to popularity through YouTube. Dubbed by Oprah Winfrey as the Most Talented Girl in the World. She released her first international self-titled studio album in 2010. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number-eight, making Charice the first Asian solo singer in history to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 albums chart. In addition to her achievements, Charice joined the cast of Fox hit comedy series Glee as Sunshine Corazon.
Recently, she was named as the Favorite Asian Act at Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. In March 2012, she signed on to be one of the four judges on The X Factor Philippines, which will air on ABS-CBN by the second quarter of 2012.
